The Hickory Championships takes place on August 31st 2024. We turn back the clock 100 years and celebrate our centenary year in style.

Participate in the inaugural hickory golf tournaments, for ladies and gentlemen. We welcome the best Norwegian and international hickory players, and encourage newcomers to join the fun. The day will include entertainment and experiences from the roaring 1920s.

Program

Friday 30th.

14.00 - 20.00: Practice round for participants in the Championships (see more information below)

Saturday 31st.

Start from 09.00: Both Championships, dress code 1920s
15.00 - 18.00: Hickory festival for everyone at the Club House
19.00 - 24.00: Dinner Party and awards ceremony for participants and invited guests

Practice round

Oslo Golf Club offers a discounted green fee rate of NOK 700 for practice (18 holes) on Friday 30th. This can be booked no later than August 16 by sending an email to aronsen@oslogk.no. Please, pay the green fee in the Pro Shop upon arrival.

Borregaard Golf Club

It has been arranged with Cecilie Lundgreen, the Secretary of Borregaard GC (https://borregaardgk.no/) and also their Pro, that those golfers who will be driving to Oslo on their way to play in the championships on August 31st., may prebook golf at Borregaard GC for the following alternative days: August 28th, 29th and 30th, and September 1st. The course is ideally suited to hickorygolf.

Greenfee will be NOK 300 for 9 holes and NOK 400 for 18 holes.
